As I sit here at my Wonderful computer desk, Diego blasting on the PC behind me for the baby, my Imac playing my favorite songs, and the tallest cup I could find full of Coffee and French Vanilla creamer I wonder—Have I done my best with my Work? Have I treated my clients like I would love to be treated? Have my turn around times been quick enough? ……and I feel the answer isn’t quite 100% YES-Like I want it to be! Do I want to be perfect? No But I want to be as close to that as possible!
I know there is huge room for Improvement and I want to improve! It wouldn’t be right for me to say I don’t need to improve! I want to learn so much in 2011!!
I have spent many a nights at this desk editing until 2 or 3 in the morning and getting back up at 5 to do more before the day starts here. Hoping to finish a session before the kids get up. Hoping to get galleries up during nap time. Most of you know that I have 4 children (who can forget the dogs) which require alot of attention (as do all children) I pride myself on being a stay at home Mom. I do my best to work from home so they can be at home with me. So during the day I try to spend some time with them. I work on photos and editing for 8 hours 5 days a week.. That’s a full week of work for most people. I do not edit or process orders on Saturdays and Sundays. This is my famiy time. I do shoot weddings and events On Saturdays but no editing. I try to have clients photos turned around in 2 weeks. Weddings within 3 months. I feel that is pretty reasonable. I return clients phone calls within 24 hours and try to get orders back within a week of placing them. So Im ready to hear what I can do to improve things around here. I like to keep it friendly but yet I want to keep it professional. So let’s hear it! What did you like about your session/wedding? What could I have done better? What didn’t you like? How were your prints? Packaging? Turn around time? Prices? Some new changes are coming to make the “studio” even better (if it can be made better) LOL I really do look forward to having your input! It means alot to me to be able to know how to improve to make 2011 even better!
Without you I wouldn’t be who I am today! I am so proud to be The owner of Candace Hart Photography and to be apart of such wonderful organizatins such as NILMDTS and LHP!
